Hello! You have found my personal website, where my experience in research, collaboration, facilitation, and music meet.
Here I keep an archive of what I have been up to that I periodically update, including current and not-so-current projects.

My background is in music studies, which has gifted me with an abundance of experience between the academy and local communities.
I desire to support communities of kindness and knowledge-making that seek to solve problems and bridge divisions across many audiences.
I am a public learner and scholar who teaches and mentors those around me, as those around me teach and mentor me.
Such collaboration, like being in a band, is being part of a team, organizing around common goals, and listening.

Music is Art
- Art-making is world-making.
- People deserve to make art.
- Aesthetically “good” art is not always the same as art made for community and personal good.
- Art-making is a path toward healing and understanding ourselves, others, and the world.
- Something this powerful is worth understanding and is at the heart of studies in expressive culture (a.k.a. the Humanities).
I am a researcher, collaborator, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and band leader/member, and I hope you enjoy exploring my website.
